Yup. Happened during that blowback from the "slant" jokes. I remember reading either here or Jalopnik that he was having to hold all his feelings in because of all the paps around, and he's having to clear out all of his mom's stuff and memories while at the same time dealing with all this politically correct bullshit that could seriously damage his career... I feel bad for him. It's a sad situation.

She was a funny woman. I remember watching a Clarkson edition on Who Do You Think You Are and she once mentioned her grandmother who her mother had cut off ties with. Apparently, she was a right old cunt.
